Two After-School Clubs meet on Fridays during term time

The Younger Friday Club

Who is it for? Children who are between 5 and 9 years old (Years 1 to 4), who want to have fun on a Friday after school?

When? Fridays during term time between 3.15 and 5 pm.

Where? In St Martin’s Community Hall, Broadmayne. You will be collected from the First School at 3.15pm and taken down to the hall.

What? The club is run in a relaxed way, with snacks and drinks within a structured session. We usually focus on a theme from a Christian perspective. Whatever the theme there is always a wide ranging approach involving multimedia, art and craft, drama and music.

Cost? £1 per session which will cover the cost of refreshments and materials.

Run by? Kate Badley and Emma Nixon, DBS checked volunteers from the churches in Broadmayne.

“EPIC!” Friday Club

Who is it for? Children who are between 9 and 13 years old,(Years 5 to 8) who want to have fun on a Friday after school?

When? Fridays during term time between 4 and 5.30 pm.

Where? In the hall at Broadmayne Methodist Church, on Main Street opposite the garage. EPIC! Club entrance is down the side passage.

What?
We will start with hot chocolate and toast. Every Friday will be different but there will be the opportunity for you to learn new skills, try new things, join in community projects, play indoor and outdoor games and watch DVDs.

Cost? £1 per session which will cover the cost of refreshments and materials.

Run by? Peter Jenner, our Children and Families Worker, with the support of the Friday Club team, DBS checked volunteers from the churches in Broadmayne.

We look forward to seeing you when we meet you from the bus stop and then walk to the church hall together.
