1st Broadmayne Brownies
We are a small but active unit meeting in Broadmayne on a weekly basis during term time.
As part of Girlguiding we give 7-10 year old girls a space where they can be themselves, have fun, build brilliant friendships, gain valuable life skills and make a positive difference to their lives and their communities. We build girls’ confidence and raise their aspirations, give them the chance to discover their full potential and encourage them to be a powerful force for good.
During the last few months we have taken part in lots of activities including region badge “rustle, bustle and squeak” that saw us making butterfly feeders and re-vamping the community bug hotel, enjoying a wet games evening, taking part in the WAGGGS (World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts) Team girl badge, making soup, learning some DIY with hammers and nails as well as visiting the pantomime.
