LockDown – Broadmayne and West Knighton respond

In response to the national lockdown the
has been reactivated and the
has relaunched its Community Support Schemes

As before, we will have teams of volunteers ready to support all those who need help because they are self-isolating, for whatever reason. We are particularly keen to help any household that is SHIELDING or where there are cases or symptoms of COVID-19.

If you have used our volunteers before and are still in contact with them, or with their Team Leader, please make your needs known to them. Also, please see the details that follow about how to make use of the village shop’s special arrangements.

If you need to make contact and don’t know who to call, our Emergency Co-ordinator will help you:

CALL Aly Carroll on 01305 854869

We are here to help
Please remind any friend of neighbour, who needs help, that they just have to ask.

As from Tuesday 5th January we will be re activating the delivery and pick & collect service just through lock down!
We would however ask you to please consider others and make your purchases as quickly as you can and as you queue outside, again, please keep a good distance from one another. Please remember only 3 in the shop at one time.
Our temporary website is now up and running again for the sole purpose of booking deliveries or collections. Our ‘Pick & Collect’ service enables you to place an order for collection and the delivery service, which is run in partnership with the Broadmayne Emergency Plan volunteers, is predominantly for those customers who are elderly, vulnerable or self-isolating.
Both services are available from Monday to Friday and full details are available on the website https://www.cornerhousestores.com
Please note that Sunday closing is now 2pm, not 4pm.
Thanks and stay safe!      Thank you for your continued support!
Michaela and the Team
