In mid-October Dorset Highways will be closing several Broadmayne roads for pothole repairs.
Bakers Paddock: between 10th – 14th October
Broadmead: between 11th – 15th October
Osmington Drove: between 11th – 15th October
Hightrees: between 11th – 15th October
Woodlands: between 12th – 16th October
Highways tell us ” Whilst these works are being completed, access to properties and businesses will be maintained as appropriate. We may ask the public to wait for a short time whilst we move machinery or carry out a task.“

PROPOSED HIGHWAY WORKS IN YOUR AREA
To enable us to carry out essential highway maintenance works, we plan to close …….
The road will be closed daily, between the hours of 08.00-18.00 and 09.00 start on Sundays, and will be re-
opened to traffic overnight.
We will be carrying out targeted and localised repairs to sections of those roads.
For the health and safety of all parties, vehicular and pedestrian access is only available by calling the
telephone number listed on our onsite signage. This will allow residents to be escorted safely on and off site by a
Traffic Management Operative.
During the closure periods there will be no on street parking available, and temporary parking restrictions will be
implemented to prevent waiting or parking on the roads listed above. Please note that any vehicle waiting in
contravention of temporary parking restrictions may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal
of Vehicles Regulations 1986. If a vehicle has been removed, the owner must contact the Council’s vehicle recovery
contractor: Ashleywood Recovery Ltd/Bride Valley Recovery Ltd on 01305 889421.
These works will be carried out by Colas Ltd on behalf of Dorset Council.
