They also stress that any incidents of flooding should be reported to Environment Agency Incident Hotline 0800 80 70 60 or by using the following online link

Following incidents of flooding that occurred in Broadmayne on the 27th August 2020, Dorset Council prepared a Flood Investigation Report.

The main areas of concern on the day were Main Street, Cowleaze Road and Rectory Road and the report looks into those in some detail and identifies some “Quick Wins”, some “Recommended Actions” and some “Next Steps”

Broadmayne’s Community Sandbag Store is a green hopper in the Village Hall car park. Sandbags are provided for parishioners to use in an emergency.
